We often get asked what products we use for our Sphynx cats — so this page shares all of our very favourite products, toys and treats, so you don't have to scour the internet to find our tried and true favourites.
Sphynx skin is temperature sensitive, and letting them out in the sun will cause sunburn. To protect my Sphynxies, I have a number of custom-made outfits to keep them warm in winter — and Sphynx sun suits to keep their skin protected when we're out on adventures! Psst… she makes Sphynx bath caps too!!!

Sphynx just LOVE adventures, and nothing beats exploring the great outdoors with your favourite hairless feline! But dangers lurk around every corner, so make sure your little explorer is safely strapped into a harness whenever adventure calls — grandma's house, the vet, or your favourite pet shop for snacks. Strap in and keep safe out there!

Grooming your Sphynx is a weekly ritual that keeps your beloved companion in tip-top health! Although I don't recommend frequent baths, I do recommend Wampum no-rinse shampoo for cleaning nail beds, tooth spray for healthy teeth, and soothing skin spray for minor irritations. And when bath time does come, Wampum conditioning shampoo is my go-to!

For a long time, Sphynx-safe sunscreen was but a far-off dream. Now it's a reality with Dermoscent SunFree SPF30+, available online at Takealot or directly from your vet — yes, I am STOKED! I also recommend their CBD for cats, Essential OTO ear cleaner, calming spray, and Canigest to keep your first-aid kit well stocked.

Your Sphynx is an active little feline — a super high-energy breed! To keep your darling entertained day and night, with a way to burn off all those mid-day snacks, I recommend a cat wheel. If there is one thing your Sphynx needs — the cure-all to many behavioural issues and the number one activity in their lives — it is more playtime! Playing with your Sphynx is a great way to bond, relieves stress, and is the first place to start whenever your Sphynx misbehaves. Hands are NOT toys, so stock up on toys of every type.

Most cats are naturally drawn to cardboard — Sphynx are no different! I have more of these scratchers around my house than I care to admit, but my Sphynx crew just LOVE them. Ample scratch space is essential for wellbeing, and scratchers double as scent markers for the glands between those toe beans — helping your Sphynx feel safe and secure at home.

Because Sphynx can be prone to acne and blackheads, I always recommend ceramic or stainless steel bowls to help prevent feline acne! Blackheads can be super painful, especially if they get infected, so steer clear of plastic food and water bowls. Any ceramic or stainless bowl will do — but I like these.

Sphynx LOVE soft, warm blankies and cozy places to lie down. Soft furnishings also act as scent-soakers — letting your Sphynx's unique scent live in every corner of your home, signifying their ownership of the space and helping them feel safe and secure. Cats are obligate carnivores — they need meat to survive. We feed a balanced raw meal as the largest portion of our cats' food and treats. Feeding raw doesn't work for every family, so we teach our kittens to eat Hills as well — but we encourage a good quality, balanced raw food as at least a portion of your Sphynx's daily meals for optimum health.

In our search for the perfect kitty litter for our Sphynx clan, we've tried a long list of options and this is our current favourite! It's free of smells and very low dust, easy on sensitive noses, clumps well, is easy to clean, soft to step on — and above all, safe if a kitty decides to sample a little of their litter.
